Following her primary education, she did not pursue secondary school because no one was able to cover her tuition. A kind neighbor approached and asked if Mary could receive assistance. She is now in her fourth year at Rain Edge High School.

Nelvin comes from a family with two siblings. His father earns a minimal income as a waiter in a small cafe, while his mother is a homemaker. Due to financial constraints, specifically his father's inability to afford the school fees, Nelvin had to discontinue his education. His younger siblings are currently not of school age. Seeking assistance, Nelvin's father approached Sure24 for support in funding his son's education. The family is now considered middle class.

Joseph Mwangi
Having three siblings, he tragically lost both parents and became an orphan. Before arriving at Sure 24, he resided with his aunt, but faced severe mistreatment from his uncle. This included being forced out of the house at night and being denied food. His aunt frequently clashed with her husband over Joseph's welfare, sometimes resulting in her being evicted for defending him and challenging her husband's behavior. Witnessing the ongoing mental and physical abuse, she was advised to seek a stable and nurturing environment for her nephew, where he could experience love, have regular meals, and enjoy a happy childhood. Ultimately, she was directed to Sure 24, where he now resides and thrives.

After his father attempted to rape one of his sisters, his mother left him and they lived on the streets until a good Samaritan brought them to Sure 24. Born the youngest of two, he lives in a family where his mother works as a green grocer and his father is unemployed. Her meager income struggles to cover rent, their education, a balanced diet, and basic necessities. Due to these circumstances, Geoffrey and his brother were identified as children in need of care and brought to Sure24.

Bradley Nyawanga
Bradley is the younger of two children. His father was formerly employed by a church, while his mother worked as a domestic helper in their community. When his father became ill and sought medical treatment, his health continued to decline. Eventually, he was terminated from his position due to his inability to fulfill his responsibilities. Subsequently, Bradley's mother had to quit her job to care for her ailing husband. The family's circumstances significantly worsened with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, forcing them to sell some of their possessions to make ends meet. Through a friend, Bradley's father was introduced to Pastor Sammy, who offered them refuge and brought them to Sure 24. Bradley's father is still receiving medical care, and Bradley has since been accepted into the Sure 24 sponsorship program.

He has two siblings and lives with his family near the Nakuru dump site, where garbage and scrap metal are discarded. His parents collect and resell these materials, but their earnings are rarely sufficient to provide food, clothing, and education for their children. The family often experiences hunger, especially when they are unable to sell their collected materials or when donations from well-wishers are scarce. The boy was brought to Sure24 to ensure he receives his basic needs.

Joseph comes from a family of three siblings whose parents separated eight years ago. Their mother became the sole provider, as their father moved away after the separation and offered no child support. They reside in a small rental house in Ahero village, Bahati Sub County, with their elderly grandmother, who relies on government assistance for senior citizens ("pesa za wazee") to help cover rent. Their mother works as a casual laborer, but her earnings are often insufficient to meet their needs, leading to periods of food scarcity and inconsistent school attendance for the children. A kind individual recognized their plight and brought them to Sure24, where they could receive essential care and support. Joseph, along with his siblings Helen and Dennis, was admitted to Sure24 on January 26, 2021. He is currently a third year student at Rainedge High School.

Despite these challenges, Peter excelled in his grade eight exams. However, his mother couldn't afford the school fees for secondary school. With the help of the school head teacher and the area chief, his situation came to light. Social workers visited their home and confirmed his need for assistance. He was then brought to Sure 24 Homes and subsequently joined Rainridge High School, where he is currently in form two.

Despite excelling in primary school, her stepmother convinced her father not to send her to high school. Seeking help, Lilian confided in her pastor, who arranged for her to join Sure 24. Francis Ndungu
Francis, the elder of two brothers, including Joseph Kimani who is also associated with Sure 24, endured a difficult childhood. Sources indicate that his father tragically committed suicide, reportedly due to his mother's actions. His mother was often absent for extended periods, working as a prostitute. The father, unemployed and burdened by these circumstances, took his own life while Francis was at school. Upon returning home, Francis and his younger brother Joseph discovered their father's body. Maryanne from Jamii Children's Home intervened, providing assistance and registering the children with the police. Francis resided at Jamii Children's Home until its closure by the government in December 2013. Despite these hardships, Francis remains resolute in his pursuit of education and aspires to become a pilot.

Faith is an orphan, the sole child of her parents. She lost both of her parents at a young age, and one of her uncles took her in but was unable to provide for her because he had children of the same age as Faith. After completing her basic schooling, she began doing casual jobs to survive, which is when the area chief noticed she was not attending school. He spoke with one of the pastors in their region, who sought Pastor Sammy for help. Faith is currently in form Four at Rainedge High School.

She did really well in her basic education but had no one to pay her high school studies. She was brought to Sure24 by a well-wisher who approached Pastor Sammy for assistance. Later, she met a kind Samaritan who sent her to sure24 for help. She is now in Form Four at Rainedge High School.

The fourth of five siblings, Maurine comes from a family of five. Her mother supports her family with the minimal money she makes working as a casual labourer on other people's farms. Due to rent arrears, they frequently had to sleep outside and were hungry. Because she didn't have the money to continue her education after high school, she went to her pastor and told him her situation. She was introduced to Sure24 by her pastor, who approached Pastor Sammy. She is currently a fourth-year student at Rainedge High School.
